Co-Co Krisp

This is a nickname we have had for son #2 since he was born. His name is Cole. I’ve always thought it was cute and makes me think of my favorite childhood cereal- Cocoa Krispies.

I think my husband is the one that came up with it. Little did I know it was after a well-known baseball player. (I know, I know. Spelling is different). Shows how much I know about sports.

Our Co-Co turns 8 today. I still can’t believe how fast he has grown up. Time goes too fast. Don’t blink because you’ll miss something. I have to remind myself daily to stay present in the moment.
Cole is the most sensitive, sweet boy you would ever meet. He has to make sure he gives my husband and me a hug and kiss every single night. He loves to cuddle. He has cried at movies like E.T. and Air Bud. He is an introvert and very shy.

But he is also a fierce competitor. He likes to win and it doesn’t matter what it is. Video games, board games, to sports- he wants to come in first. He has a hard time losing and it’s something we are working on.
We love our sweet Co-Co. Happy Birthday!

Favorite day of the week

It’s true. Thursday has become my favorite day of the week. Pretty much.

I get to watch my DVR’d show Work of Art from last night. Have you seen it yet. Love it. Definitely not a show for little viewers though.

And I love the new series- Project Accessory. Check out the first episode online! I’m always excited about Project Runway, but I think I love this even more. It’s a little more up my alley, since I’m not an excellent sewer. It’s on tonight. I’m anxious to see what kind of challenges they are going to come up with. The first challenge was so interesting to watch- and who won was definitely my favorite. Tell me what you think!

Halloween Pictures

I LOVE HALLOWEEN! Always have. Always will.

It’s a chance to dress up fun, wear funny makeup, make people laugh or give them a little scare. I used to drag my friends trick-or-treating with me all the way through high school.

In college, my roomie and I put on masks and layers of thick clothes. We walked into each of the dorms’ lounges and walked and stared and never said a word. Some people would just stare at us, others tried to find out who we were. It was soooo much fun.

My boys share my enthusiasm for this holiday. We love figuring out what they will dress up as. This is what we looked like this year.

I know, pretty scary right? Hope you all had a great Halloween!
